We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation since the day we began our “stay at home” order, making decisions with the well-being of our participants and communities in mind. It is with everyone’s health, safety, and sanity in mind that we have decided to postpone the Saratoga Lacrosse Shootout to our back-up date, August 8-9, 2020.

We understand the challenges associated with this situation and decision. We will continue to roll with the punches and line up the best possible ‘Plan B’. We are in this together.

Your registration will automatically roll over to the new date. If August 8-9 doesn’t work for your group for any reason, please see attached for your options. Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you are not able to join us, and your choice as it relates to your funds. If you are not sure at this time, please let us know that as well.

On 3/18 we bumped the 4/1 balance charge to 5/1. We will continue to delay the balance due date until we have a clearer picture of what lies ahead, as not to add any additional burden.

If you’ve made your lodging arrangements for the original event dates through PSE, there will be some steps to take to reset arrangements. Initial arrangements will be cancelled and deposits paid refunded. You will receive a note directly from PSE regarding the cancellation. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible but may be delayed based on the volume of adjustments they are working through nationally. A new reservation link will be available in the next 5-7 days to make arrangements for the new August 8-9 dates. An up-front deposit will not be required for these reservations. Stay tuned.

This is an unprecedented circumstance and the future remains uncertain. Lacrosse tradition is unique and has the capacity to bring out the best in people; we sincerely hope for the opportunity to host you and your families on the field this summer.

In the meantime, thoughts and prayers remain with all who have been affected by the Coronavirus, those serving on the front lines, and with our lacrosse family.

We will continue to provide updates as relevant. We ask that everyone continues to do their part, so we can collectively improve circumstances, and so we can #playlax2020. We hope to see you on the fields in Saratoga in early August.

Update From The Directors: Saratoga Shootout 2020

By SLS Staff 03/18/2020, 1:45pm MDT

We are all living and operating in very uncertain and challenging times, and we wish the best of circumstances and health for you and your family. As of today, our summer 2020 event schedule remains on course, to include the Saratoga Lacrosse Shootout. However, to relieve immediate pressure from our customers, we have decided to adjust the upcoming 4/1 tournament balance charge date to 5/1.

Player Registration is open, 2020 SLS Individual Player Registration - We recommend that you pass this along to your families as a sign of reassurance that we fully intend to host the event. The sooner this process gets moving, the better for all.

Lodging - If you have not yet made your accommodations for the event, here’s the link to our selected hotels.

Policies - For reference, please click here for our Terms & Conditions, to include cancellation policy, and click here for our Hazardous Situation Policy. Tournament registrations are non-refundable, but should we be faced with the unprecedented circumstance of summer event cancellation, we will review our policies and provide updated guidance. Rest assured that we will do everything in our power to develop a reasonable solution in the best possible interest of our customers and SLV's organizational viability.

Updates - Click here for our latest updates related to the outbreak. Like everyone, we are monitoring the situation closely, and sincerely hope that circumstances enable summer lacrosse. We will provide updated information as soon as possible, and no later than one moth prior to the event.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these extraordinary and uncertain circumstances.

We are 100 days out from the event and it will be a great day when the kids are able to get out and play in Saratoga Springs! Best to all.
